Recapping 2023 🎇

Let’s finish 2023 in a traditional way, with another recap post, shall we?

You know, sometimes I feel like life is a long TV show. It has good season and bad ones, eventful episodes and absolutely boring ones. Sometimes when things are hard I just imagine that I live within a show, and while something is bad for me, it is hilarious and funny for its creator and audience, aka God, and honestly that makes me feel much better, because instead of dramatizing your situation, you change your perspective, adding some humor.

Why am I talking about life and TV show all of a sudden? Because this season, called 2023, was very amusing and entertaining. If my theory is right and there is indeed someone watching our lives like series, I’m absolutely sure that they thoroughly enjoyed this one. Here are some of the highlights and events of this season, so you’ll get a better understanding of what I’m saying:

2023 included several job changes, first full-time job, as well as being unemployed, 2 new finished courses, one failed exam, fights with a neighbor, calling police, being stuck outside of the apartment, lots of relatives staying over, a few months spent going to doctors and hospitals (everything ended well btw, so don’t worry), lots of depressive days, happy days, interesting games played with cousins, doing fun activities with friends and family, time spent in nature, planting trees and flowers, fostering a little bird and sadly having to say goodbye to him, finding new fandoms to join, seeing new amazing places, trying new fun things…

2023 was eventful and difficult, sometimes very challenging, stressful and scary, but I understand that it’s an integral part of life, and everyone has to deal with problems every now and then, and that’s okay. Life has its ups and downs, and just because you’re in a rough patch, doesn’t mean you’ll stay there forever.

But this year was also very beautiful and good, giving many pleasant moments and memories to remember. It also gave many important lessons to learn – to never lose your hope and optimism, to keep believing in good things, to appreciate your close people, who are always ready to help, to laugh as much as possible because humor and laughter are indeed one of the most effective cures to anything.

2023 had many other events and morals, but if I keep writing, I’ll never end writing. So with that, let’s finish this post. I wish you all a very happy New Year! I hope it will be good, kind, full of love, light and laughter. ♥️✨
