Hello, September: BuJo Theme 📓

I’ve been thinking about creating a new “column” in this blog for a while now, and I came up with the idea of sharing my monthly bullet journal layouts in here, with a few words about the upcoming season. I don’t know how long this will last, because sometimes I hate how my bullet journal pages turn out, but I decided to give it a go anyway.

September marks the beginning of my favorite period of the year. It’s the time when everything gets cozier and more magical, it’s the season when I feel the most inspired because of the weather and nature outside. Also, since the majority of my life I spent studying, it always feels nostalgic for school and university. I always want to stroll through the bookstores, buy some pretty stationary and apply for more courses to learn. It’s the dark academia month for me, hence why this layout tried to represent all that – the beginning of autumn, books and studying and some dark academia vibes.

Sadly fall starts quite late in here, as the weather is still very warm throughout the september, that’s why I can’t make the pages fully autumnal, as it won’t correspond with the weather outside. But I love using slightly darker and warmer colors for it.

To finish this weird “column”, I decided to share a couple of beautiful quotes about September. Wish you a great month ahead!

  5. My favorite time of year as well! Not just because it is my birth month, but the weather usually starts changing here in Kentucky about this time of year. By October we will be in “fall foliage” though this year the month is starting out unseasonably warm.
    And because of Neil Diamonds’ September Morn.😉
    Now, Anita and I have to dance tonight!

  6. Yay! Another blogger who plans to share monthly bujo content. Love your theme. I’m saving my autumnal stuff for my October pages as we’re having really warm weather in the UK still at the moment.
