For me, summer has two types of playlists: the first one consists of upbeat songs, to which you want to dance your troubles away. They will always manage to cheer you up and they’re great for parties and gatherings.

But today I want to talk about the second playlist, because it describes the mood of this season the best. The music of this album is chill, mostly in indie genre. You can listen to it on the road, enjoying the beautiful summer sceneries; lying in your bed, enjoying the refreshing storm or the most picturesque sunsets. They seem to be the perfect soundtrack of the hot season, instantly making the dull life feel like an actual movie.

When I listen to these songs, I can’t stop thinking about the beach and the waves of the sea, the colorful wildflowers in the meadow, the cool summer nights and the peaceful dawns, full of bird chirping. They also remind me of the previous summers, full of the most amazing memories, which merge with the present time.
