I’ve been planning on writing this article since summer, but I feel like now is a better time to post, cause it’s a transitional period between two seasons, so it will feel nice to reminisce a little.

I love the beauty and aesthetics of each four times of the year. Each of them has their own special details which make them unique. For this little project I decided to make collages of all four seasons and write a few words about them, trying to represent the seasons in the best way possible. Let’s start.

Winter

The year starts with winter. It’s the most peaceful time of the year, when the falling snow seems to cover the world with a cloak of soothing silence. It’s the season filled with cozy hygge atmosphere, when you want to sit on the windowsill on a chill Sunday morning, look out of the window and enjoy the snowflakes whirling in the air. For me, it’s the most magical time of the year, because the outside turns into a proper fairy tale. I especially love the winter twilights, when the sky gets painted in mild pink tones, and the snow seems to shine from the moonlight and the street lamps.

Spring

In Spring the nature gets its second breath. It seems like the world wakes up after a long and sweet winter nap. Everything gets covered in blossoms and later greenery. In this season you feel like your soul reawakens and blooms along with nature, like you’ve been asleep this whole time too. Spring has light academia vibes for me, cause all you want is to investigate the fresh nature, create and be inspired from the beauty outside. It’s the time of thunderstorms, when after every rainfall you feel fresh and kinda nourished with the greenery. Spring creates the best combination of contrasting colors – lush green of the earth and dark grey of the sky.

Summer

Summer is my least favorite season, but even I can understand why everyone loves it and appreciate its immense beauty and fascination. It’s the cottagecore time of the year, when you want to spend your every second among nature, feel the light breeze, the smell of all the amazing wildflowers around the meadow. It’s the most romantic season, when you romanticize every single summery detail – the sunset sky, the rays of sunshine creating leaks and shadows, the seasonal fruits and the feeling of joy and freedom.

Autumn

And the nomination of the best season (at least for me) goes to autumn. It’s the most colorful time of the year, where everywhere you go you see lots of yellow, orange and burgundy colors. It’s the mysterious time of the year, full of dark academia aesthetics. The outside transforms in fall, becoming a whole new world. It gets even better with rainstorms and heavy fog covering and concealing the world, giving place to your imagination. All you want is to light up all the candles and enjoy the sound of raindrops hitting the roof and the windows, after having the most refreshing and chill walk around nature.
