7th Anniversary of the Blog ๐ŸŽŠ

Yesterday I was kindly reminded by WordPress, that it’s my blog’s anniversary!

7 years ago I opened this page and never left. Initially it was more like an online diary for me, where I’d share the thoughts, that were hunting me or my inspiration with pretty much nobody. None of my friends and acquaintances (with just a few exceptions) knew about this place, because it was something too precious and secretive for me to show, even though I never shared too much in here. It’s hard to explain.

I remember this day very vividly. I was getting ready to go to a theater with my university group, and was quite excited but also anxious about it. I had never been good at social events even back then, so it was quite overwhelming for me. So, in order to distract myself for the past few hours before leaving the house, I decided to try this platform, opened an account and even wrote a short introductory post. And here we are now!

It’s funny to see how much has changed. I’ve learned so much throughout this time. And not only in English, but in my life as well. My sentences were perhaps too primitive, my thoughts naive, but I’m not ashamed of it, because it’s an important part of the journey. Also, if you look back and cringe a lot, it simply means, that you have grown immensely. And maybe a few years later I will reread these posts and feel the same way about now. But I’ll only be happy for that.

Back to my blog. As I said, a lot has changed. Even the world has changed so much. I started this as a simple hobby, and now I got sth like a side-job. I got quite a lot of readers, people who have similar interests and opinions and share their thoughts, experiences and worldview with me, which is really amazing. Amazing, that even though we all live in different parts of the world, we somehow manage to find our kindred spirits. Of course, it’s not the same as if we found them offline, but still, it’s much better than nothing.

Thanks to everyone, who reads my posts, even the “pointless” and weird ones, who likes and comments them. It’s really not about the quantity of numbers of likes or comments, it’s the fact that there are people out there, who love the things that I do, who think the way I do. It’s truly the most important thing for me, and I think for everyone else too, knowing that you’re not alone in this big world. Thanks again! And congrats to me for these amazing 7 years! โ™ฅ๏ธ

  6. 7 years is a long time, congratulations for being jailed with WordPress community and I love your photos more than anything, the creativity nature then festives and all, I like them all so keep on going, see you at 14, ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿชข

  11. Congratulations on your anniversary and keeping up with your blog. I, too, post randomly, as inspired. I finally looked up with “sth” means. I write texts just as I normally write so I haven’t been up on the use of “sth”. So after your last post I looked it up ๐Ÿ™‚

    • thanks a lot! haha, yes I use that a lot๐Ÿ˜‚ because it’s easier and faster, and since my posts are always too long, at least it’s a way to shorten them up a little ๐Ÿ˜‚

  14. Congrats! I just celebrated one year and I was blown away with how much I had changed/how much my writing had changed. I can’t imagine looking back after 7 years! Quite the accomplishment. ๐Ÿ’œ
